Review — Foundation (and Nonsense)

The early promotions and glimpses of the design, with their aura of warmed over CGI, both told me what was coming. But still I held out hope. Apple TV+ was producing the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov and I wanted it to succeed. I crossed my fingers and burned sacrifices against the gods of Woke and Diversity, against the Marvelization of science fiction, against the ghosts of pseudo-scifi screen fluff — yes, Star Wars and Star Trek, I am looking at you.
