Perhaps you are a fan of the type of politics practiced by former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who during the 2012 presidential election campaign lied about candidate Mitt Romney, saying he had not paid taxes for ten years. He later justified his lie with a simple, “Romney didn’t win, did he?”.

Fine. You want to win. And to be perfectly consistent, you will not of course give the same grace to the other side. To you, ideas like truth and fairness are simply bows in the quiver that can be drawn when an enemy target presents itself, not ideals you yourself should be held accountable…
